As in past years, Dr. Linda Walsh, of Jarrettsville Family Care, is leading a skilled team of medical professionals who seek to provide many needy individuals with the only medical care they are likely to have this year. Last year, this group provided direct, face-to-face care nearly 500 people in San Pedro de Macoris.

Whether it's getting a face-painting, making a craft, singing a song, or listening to a Bible story, everyone involved in the children's ministries seems to find something to get excited about-- child and adult alike. A moment spent with a child during one of these ministries is a highlight of the trip for many members of the mission team. Through all of these means, the mission team seeks to bring the love of God into the lives of every child.

More than a healing touch or a fun craft, sometimes a community needs something concrete-- literally! Past years have brought the diverse mission team construction opportunities that have ranged from making wooden benches to aiding the construction of the second story of a school building.
